- Many nationalities are eligible for a visa-on-arrival when entering the UAE. For example, citizens of certain countries receive a free 30-day visit visa upon arrival.
- There’s been a recent update: Indian nationals holding a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada are now eligible for the visa-on-arrival programme.
- To apply, check with the Dubai Naturalisation & Residency Department (DNRD) — visa approval and issuance are regulated by DNRD. You can also apply via the GDRFA (Dubai) smart services platform.
- Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months when you travel.
- Visa durations may vary (some are 14 days, others up to 30 days) depending on your nationality and visa type.
